Yesterday was a day for smoking. We bought 10 pounds of Chicken wings and smoked them on the Traeger Pellet Grill. It was about a 2-2.5 hour cook and roughly a half hour of prep time, in total about 3 hours. They were so delicious and I have been making sauces all week to enjoy with them. We had a side of Hot Traditional Wing Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce and Blue Cheese along with some Celery and Carrots. It was a fun cook and seriously delicious! Not to mention all that went into it was worth putting in our bodies and was a very satisfying meal that did not leave us hungry this morning.
This batch of wings yields 30 whole wings: 30 wings and 30 drums. which is equivalent to 60 wings from the restaurant, and they were about 50 cent wings from the grocery store. Save the leftovers in the fridge for up to a week. If it doesn’t look like you’re going to eat them within a week store in the freezer in a freezer bag or air tight vessel.
